Early voting for Primary election starts February 24
By Canton CitizenTown Clerk Tracy Kenney has announced that early voting for the March 5 Presidential Primary will be available in person at Canton Town Hall during the following dates and times:
Saturday, February 24, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday, February 26, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tuesday, February 27, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Wednesday, February 28, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thursday, February 29, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, March 1, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Town Hall is handicap accessible and will have an AutoMARK ballot-marking system available, designed to provide autonomy to voters who are blind, visually impaired, or have a disability or condition that makes it difficult to traditionally mark a ballot.
Registered voters also have the option to request an early voting ballot through the mail. You can find the application on the secretary of the commonwealth’s website (MassEarlyVote.com) or at the Town Clerk’s office. Applications for early voting ballots must be received in the Town Clerk’s office by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27.
Please note: Once a voter has cast an early voting ballot, the voter may no longer vote at the polls on Election Day.
