Jo-Anne formerly worked as a banking administrative assistant. She enjoyed golf and was a member and former manager of the Mountain View Country Club in Greensboro, VT.
Daughter of the late Charles and Kathleen McElman. Wife of the late Joseph V. McCarthy. Loving mother of Sean M. McCarthy of Hardwick VT, and Brian P. McCarthy and his wife, Linda, of Colchester, VT. Sister of Charles J. McElman of Weymouth and Kathleen M. McElman of Canton. Beloved aunt of the late Rob Cummer. She is also survived by her beloved friends Kathy and Bill Sullivan of Canton.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street. Donations may be made in Jo-Anne’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association at act.alz.org/donate.
