CABI welcomes Joe Emerson as new executive director

With a wealth of experience in business development, management and civic engagement, Emerson will bring a fresh perspective and dynamic supervision to CABI.
Having served on the CABI board of directors for the last four years and as a member of the organization for more than 18 years, Emerson is well-equipped to help direct CABI into its next phase of growth and development. He also brings a proven track record of fostering partnerships and increasing communications — skills needed to manage the variety of tasks asked of the position.
In his new role, Emerson will oversee CABI’s administrative operations, drive strategic planning efforts, and spearhead initiatives aimed at promoting collaboration between the town, businesses, and the residents of the Canton community. His passion for working with companies of all sizes to recognize roadblocks and work with local resources to overcome those challenges aligns perfectly with CABI’s mission to support and empower local businesses.
