Bertolino, Grace M.
By Canton CitizenGrace Marie Bertolino (Amico) passed away on July 20, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of family devotion. Born in Boston to Margaret and Angelo Amico, Grace spent her formative years in Roslindale and was a proud alumna of Mt. St. Joseph’s Academy in Brighton and Aquinas Jr. College.
Grace was the beloved wife of 53 years of the late Robert E. Bertolino. Together they built a life focused on family. She was exceptionally proud of her children: Robert E. Bertolino, Jr. and his wife, Carrie, of North Andover, Paul D. Bertolino and his wife, Christine, of Mansfield, David J. Bertolino and his wife, Leigh, of Sandy Springs, GA, and Michelle M. Kaelin and her husband, Fred, of Northboro. Grace was a proud nana to 11 grandchildren: Justin, Olivia, Robert E. III, Sonia, Emma, Nicholas, Grace, Max, Cole, Freddie, and Luca. She cherished every moment she spent with them.
She leaves behind her siblings, Marguerite Pennini of Wrentham, Sister Roseann Amico of Watertown, and Angelo Amico of Weymouth. She was predeceased by her brother John Amico.
Before dedicating her time to raising her children, Grace worked as a medical secretary in a doctor’s office where she was like a cherished family member. As her children got older, she returned to work as an administrative assistant at the Early Beginning Center in Canton for over 10 years and later served on the board of directors. Those who knew Grace understood that her world revolved around her family. Her home was a welcoming haven where laughter and cookies were abundant.
