It’s been a very successful summer for Canton Little League’s softball program, highlighted by recent championship victories for both the 12U and 10U green teams in their respective South Shore Softball League division tournaments. The 10U squad went 8-1-1 during the regular season, and after earning a first-round bye and dispatching Abington in the semifinals, they clinched the title with a 7-4 win over Dorchester in the championship game. At the 12U level, Canton Green earned the No. 4 seed with a 6-2-2 record and then rolled through the playoffs, knocking off No. 6 East Bridgewater, No. 1 Plymouth, and No. 3 Milton in the finals to capture the division crown.
