Community invited to interfaith Thanksgiving service

By

Dear Editor:

We, the Canton Interfaith Clergy Group, are looking forward to welcoming the Canton community to our annual interfaith Thanksgiving service at First Parish Unitarian Universalist on November 24.

Planning this annual event takes tremendous effort each year as we listen intently to one another, working to craft a service that welcomes and resonates with people of all faiths (as well as our agnostic community members).

This is a labor of love that has taught us the importance of building relationships across difference, and we are grateful for the friendships that have resulted from this work, especially at a time when there are so many painful divisions in our community and the country as a whole. Please join us in affirming how much we have to be grateful for.

Rabbi Lisa Feld, B’nai Tikvah

Rabbi Andrea M. Gouze, Temple Beth David of the South Shore

Rev. Dr. Michelle Walsh, PhD, LICSW, First Parish UU-Canton

Rev. Rachel Wildman, Trinity Episcopal Church
