By Canton CitizenLeonard Patrick Graham, affectionately known as “Len,” passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 5, 2024, at the age of 67.
Born on March 22, 1957, he was the beloved son of Helen T. and Leonard Patrick Graham of Canton. He is survived by his siblings, Patricia Ferry and her husband, Peter, of Canton, Michael Graham of Stafford Springs, CT, Kathy Graham of Marblehead, and his devoted brother and caregiver, Kevin James Graham of Canton. He leaves behind three cherished nieces, Mikaela Shaw (Ferry) of South Yarmouth, Katie Miccoli (Graham) of Marshfield, and Jennifer Graham of Quincy, as well as three nephews, Peter Ferry of Canton, Christopher Graham of Brockton, and Joseph Graham of Raynham. Len was also a proud great-uncle to Ryleigh and Brianna, June and Stella.
Growing up in a golfing family, Len spent his formative years at Wampatuck Country Club in Canton, where he developed a lifelong passion for golf. He also enjoyed playing hockey and was an ardent fan of the Boston Bruins. Len’s educational journey began at St. John’s parochial school, followed by Canton High School. He furthered his studies at Blue Hills Regional School, earning an associate’s degree in computer programming. Len dedicated his career to the computer field, working for esteemed companies such as college town, EDS, Fidelity and the Lahey Clinic. He retired as a supervisor of the computer room at Lahey hospital/clinic in Burlington, where he was known for his dedication and willingness to support his colleagues. Leonard would cover all shifts of people who called in sick and he would make the trek to Lahey no matter what the weather conditions were.
In retirement, Len relished golfing outings with family and engaging in spirited discussions about sports and politics. His comedic personality and storytelling prowess made him a beloved figure. He even enjoyed singing on karaoke nights! Above all, Leonard cherished his friends and family, who will deeply miss his presence.
