2025 Town Election Announcements

Canton’s 2025 town election will take place on Tuesday, April 8. Offices up for grabs include three seats on the School Committee (two 3-year terms and one 1-year term to fill a vacancy); three seats on the Library Board of Trustees (all 3-year terms); and one seat each on the Select Board (3-year term), Board of Assessors (3-year term), Board of Health (3-year term) and Planning Board (5-year term).

Candidates must be 18 or older, be a registered voter in the town of Canton, and obtain the signatures of at least 50 registered voters. The deadline to obtain nomination papers from the Town Clerk’s office is Friday, February 14, at 1 p.m., and the deadline to file completed papers is Tuesday, February 18, at 7 p.m.
