Loffreda, Loretta E.

Loretta Eileen Loffreda, 93, of Lansdale, PA, died on February 7, 2025.

Lori was born in Canton in 1931 to Carlo and Jennie Zanazzo. She attended Canton High School, then the New England Deaconess School of Nursing, graduating in 1953 with an RN. She went on to have a career in public health and nursing, first in Connecticut and later in Pennsylvania.

In 1952 Lori married John A. Loffreda. They were devoted to each other. Together they raised three children: Kathryn, Alan, and Beth. She was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother. A loyal friend, she was an expert bridge player, an avid tennis player, later a chair yoga enthusiast, and always a lover of sunshine and movies and cats. Late in life she became a world traveler, carried afar by her curiosity and conviviality.

Lori was preceded in death by her parents, Carlo and Jennie Zanazzo, and her husband of 43 years, John, and is survived by her brother, Carlo Zanazzo, Jr. (Bonnie), three children, Kathryn Michel (Robert), Alan Loffreda (Donna), and Beth Loffreda, and her granddaughter, Zoe Loffreda.
