Change isn’t easy, but it’s time for a fresh voice
By GuestDear Editor:
It took me months to be comfortable wearing a button-down shirt untucked — and now the fashion trend is going the other way and I am not happy.
I do not like change. I fear change. I’m happy with things the way they are.
However, every now and then, well, change can be a good thing. That is the reason I’m voting for Sue Harrington for Select Board on April 8.
No one can diminish the years of service of her opponent, but Canton has been through a lot and I think it’s time for a fresh voice.
Sue will bring that fresh voice, as well as the determination to work as hard as possible to make our Select Board aware of, and responsible to, the needs of our residents.
I urge everyone to give change a chance. Especially when change will come from a person with years of business experience and years of volunteer work in our schools.
Sue is eminently qualified and is poised to embrace the position with intelligence and grace.
