Vote John Connolly for Canton Select Board

By

We, the Concerned Citizens of Canton, hereby acknowledge with immense gratitude, the lifetime of service and dedication John Connolly has given to the people of Canton. We acknowledge that his service to our community has brought both an abundance of economic prosperity to our town as well as helping to maintain a productive way of life that makes Canton one of the most sought-after communities in all of Massachusetts.

We declare with absolute certainty that there is no person available today more versed in municipal law, more savvy in negotiating, or more capable a leader than John Connolly. No one….

We declare that as residents of this great town, and people whose lives have been enriched by John Connolly’s heartfelt dedication, that we refuse to allow his impeccable resume and legacy to be tarnished by those who have such a pessimistic and poor view of our town.

We declare that change for the sake of change is not what Canton needs to heal the rift torn into this community by a small band of very vocal malcontents. We do not concur that change is required in this town just because a few people demand it and expect everyone to adhere to their narrative.

We declare that experience and results are more valuable and essential to the lifeblood of our community than something unproven and new. There’s no replacing his vast experience. There is no reason to deviate from a proven track record of service and success.

We declare that we all owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to John Connolly. The enormity of this debt might not come to you as you read this, but it will when you least expect it. When you drop your son or daughter at the new rink, you’ll think of John Connolly. When you attend a function at the completely new state-of-the-art middle school in a few years, thank John Connolly. When you don’t get crushed by taxes due to a healthy balance of both residential and commercial tax bases, thank him again. There will be many more instances and they will not be marked by plaques or monuments, but by the joy his efforts have brought to our lives.
