Remembering the Blizzard of ’78

Monday marked the 45th anniversary of the infamous ‘Blizzard of ’78,’ which paralyzed the region with a combination of heavy snowfall and hurricane-force winds. To this day, it remains the second biggest snowstorm on record in the greater Boston area, surpassed a quarter century later by the Blizzard of 2003.
