McKendall, William E.

William E. “Skippy” McKendall Jr. of Canton passed away April 12.

Born in Boston, he was raised in Mattapan and graduated from Hyde Park High School and St. Francis Xavier College in Canada. He worked as a salesman for many years in various industries before retiring. Bill was on the board of directors for Canton Little League for several years where he was a coach and responsible for scheduling the umpires. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family and watching Western movies.

Beloved husband of the late Marilyn A. (Lacasse). Loving father of William E. McKendall III and his wife, Michelle, of Canton, Meredith M. Donahue and her husband, Robert, of Easton, and Shana A. McKendall of Sturbridge. Brother of Jenny Lee Donovan of Quincy and Frances Clifford of Easton. Also survived by his grandchildren, Zachary Besaw, Chace Besaw, Callie McKendall, William McKendall IV, Gabriella McKendall and Gianna McKendall, and one niece and three nephews.
