It is now the midway point of the high school hockey season, and both Canton High School teams have risen to their rightful place near the top of the league standings. Despite a disappointing 4-4 tie against budding rival Oliver Ames, the boys’ team currently leads the Davenport Division with a 6-0-1 record (9-1-1 overall) and controls its own destiny with three league games remaining.
Meanwhile, the surging Lady Bulldogs are riding a four-game winning streak and currently sit in second place (5-1, 7-4 overall) in the SEMGHL West Division with plenty of time to overtake Franklin and Westwood for the title.
