Mooney, Agnes M.

Agnes M. Mooney, 96, of Sharon, formerly of Canton, passed away March 6 at the Epoch Nursing Home in Sharon.

Born and raised in Dorchester, she attended Gate of Heaven School and Nazareth High School. She worked for the commonwealth of Massachusetts as a clerk for 20 years before retiring in 1978. She also worked for the Mass. Hospital School in Canton for 11 years.

She was predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass was held Friday morning, March 9, in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Burial St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
