Wilson, Christine A.

Christine A. Wilson, a cherished soul known for her loving nature, kindness, and endearing sense of humor, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2024, at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born on February 18, 1988, in Danbury, Connecticut, Christine’s warmth and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her.

Christine grew up in the close-knit community of Canton and was the beloved daughter of Catherine D. Wilson of Easton and the late Mark J. Wilson. Her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter filled the family home, a place where she cultivated a lifetime of memories with her siblings, Nicole Touchette and her husband, Drew, of Easton, and Sean Wilson of Easton. As an aunt, she adored her niece and nephew, Harry and Dottie Touchette, and shared with them her love for creativity and joy.

A proud graduate of Canton High School’s Class of 2006, Christine’s academic journey did not end with her high school diploma. Her passion for helping others led her to pursue further education, and she earned her degree from UMass Boston School of Nursing. The dedication she showed toward her studies was a testament to her commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

Christine’s professional life was a reflection of her caring heart, as she served with compassion and excellence as a registered nurse at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. Her colleagues and patients alike will remember her for the comfort and care she provided, often going above and beyond to ensure the well-being of those in her charge.

Beyond her professional achievements, Christine was known for her creative spirit. She found joy in crafting, an activity that not only allowed her to express her artistic side but also brought a sense of serenity to her life. She was also incredibly generous and used her creative skills to make personal gifts for her friends and family members, as well as for people she just met. Christine had an admirable ability to make friends wherever she went.

Christine loved the beach and spent her childhood summers in Cape Cod with her cousin, Meghan, where they raced sailboats and enjoyed time with the friends they made there. She was a wonderful friend and sister, and she had a way of making everyone feel good and so loved when they were with her. Her dog, Chesty, was a constant companion and source of unconditional love for her. Their bond was a beautiful illustration of Christine’s capacity to love and be loved.

Christine’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and kindness. She was always ready with a kind word and a helping hand. Her laughter was contagious, and her presence could brighten even the darkest of days. She leaves behind a tapestry of memories that will be cherished by her family, including her grandmother, Loretta Lepeori of Florida, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends whose lives she enriched.

As we bid farewell to Christine, we celebrate the impact she made on the world and the hearts she touched. Her spirit, though no longer in our midst, will continue to inspire us to live with kindness and empathy, to cherish every moment, and to spread laughter wherever we go. Christine’s journey on earth may have come to an end, but the love she shared will never be forgotten. Her family and friends will miss her tremendously.
