Cohen, Leonora M.
By Canton CitizenLeonora M. “Nonie” Cohen (MacLeod), 90, of Canton, passed away March 17 at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton.
Born in Revere, she was raised in Hyde Park and graduated from Hyde Park High School in 1938. She worked for New England Telephone from 1938-1958 and was a devoted housewife and mother. She had lived in Canton for over 50 years where she was a member of the United Church of Christ and the Canton Garden Club.
Beloved wife of the late Edward M. “Mike.” Mother of Christina M. Cohen of Canton. Stepmother of Michael E. Cohen of Martha’s Vineyard. Sister of Duncan MacLeod of Canton.
Funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Thursday, March 22, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours prior to the service from 9-10 a.m. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made in her memory to the United Church of Christ, 1541 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021.
