Bank of Canton donated $1,500 to the Canton Association of Parents and Teachers (CAPT) at the Dean S. Luce School for its recent “FunRaiser for Education.” The funds will be used for enrichment activities at the school.

“We are pleased to support the efforts of the teaching professionals and parent volunteers whose commitment to school enrichment activities for Canton’s children helps broaden their education outside the classroom,” said Stephen Costello, president of Bank of Canton. “Bank of Canton is proud to support the Luce School’s ‘FunRaiser’ to make these activities possible.”

The event was co-chaired by Luce parents Erin Weitz and Julie Albert. The Luce CAPT helps to fund programs and enrichment activities not included in the school budget. This year, the CAPT was able to contribute to programs such as the fourth and fifth grade plays, in-school programs for all grades, and the National Circus Project.
