CHS boosters seeking new volunteers

This is a public letter of thanks to the “retiring” members of the CHS Athletic Booster Club’s Executive Board for their four years of hard work establishing an amazing unified booster group for the student-athletes of Canton High School. Thank you President Julie Malloy, Vice President Anne Murray, Secretary Marge Levy, and Treasurer Pauline Vinciguerra for all you have contributed to our impressive athletic program. As you “graduate” from CHS Athletics, the entire Bulldog community is thankful for your tireless effort — mainly behind the scenes. Congratulations to you all!
In the wake of this major loss of passion and commitment to CHS Athletics and the booster club, we are in search of more parents like the ones above who are willing to take the torch and blaze a new trail into the next era of the CHS Athletic Booster Club. The club is actively soliciting volunteers to fill these important roles. We only have two parents of underclassmen on the current board — Lisa Winchell and Kathy Lennon. Thanks go out to them for their continued support and hard work as well.
To keep the Canton Bulldogs running, we need to continue to raise funds for the following projects: buses for teams; athletic equipment; a speaker system for the turf field; press box renovation; eventual turf replacement; fitness room trainers; banquets and championship banners; apparel; coaches training; and much more.
This is your opportunity to support the Bulldogs!
