Free Family Concert

By

Approximately 200 people made their way down to the Paul Revere Heritage Site on Sunday afternoon, September 22, for the third annual Free Family Concert featuring the Toe Jam Puppet Band, a popular Massachusetts-based children’s entertainment group. The weather cleared up just in time, allowing families to laugh, play, dance, sing, and chase bubbles to the music.

The event was made possible by generous sponsorships from two Canton businesses, Main Course Market and Code Ninjas, as well as Stoughton-based Trilogy Salon. The Friends of the Canton Public Library were also on hand to share information about their ‘Next Chapter’ renovation project, and eighth graders from St. John’s School sold slushes to fund their upcoming trip. The Heritage Site team also expresses special thanks to the many volunteers who assisted with the event, most notably those from the local chapter of the National Charity League.

“This has been our third year hosting the Free Family Concert, and we’re happy to share that the event continues to be a success,” said PRHS Development Director Stephen Schottenfeld. “We’re glad that families from throughout the community were able to participate in a day of fun, free of charge, and we look forward to hosting it again next year.”
