Hunt, Maureen A.

Maureen Ann Hunt (née Reardon), 80, passed away on October 20, 2024, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Milton, surrounded by her loving children. She has joined eternal rest alongside her beloved husband, Edward Hunt, and her dear siblings, Robert Reardon, Patrick Reardon, Patricia McNulty and Rosemary Payne.

Maureen will be deeply missed by her surviving sister, Kathleen Cronin of Canton; her son, Peter Hunt of Boulder, CO; her daughter, Jen Seabury and her husband, Mike Seabury, of Blackstone; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Maureen’s kind heart and strong spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family and the countless memories shared with those she loved. Her presence will be missed, but her love and legacy will endure.

Visiting hours will be held at Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, on Thursday (today) from 4-8 p.m., with a funeral Mass to celebrate Maureen’s life on Friday, October 25, at 10 a.m. in St. Oscar Romero Church, Canton, followed by burial at Canton Corner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Pine Street Inn in Boston.
