Walsh, Elaine T.

Elaine T. Walsh (Hill), 78, a lifelong resident of Canton, died peacefully Monday, April 16, 2012, after a long illness.

Born in Boston, she was raised in Canton and attended Canton schools. She was a retired telephone operator for New England Telephone.

Elaine was the devoted and loving wife of the late Paul A. Walsh. Loving mother of Donna L. Tarushka and her husband, William, of Holbrook; Kevin P. Walsh and his wife, Stacey, of Norton; and James G. Walsh and his wife, Maria, of Canton. Loving sister of the late Pauline Valday and Marie Layman. Proud grandmother of Heather, Haley, Jamie, Laura, and Kayla.

Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home Thursday, April 19, from 4-8 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, April 20, at 10 a.m. in St. Gerard Majella Church. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park.
