Revere Heritage Site preps for annual holiday fair

By

The Paul Revere Heritage Site invites the public to its fourth annual Sweets & Treats Holiday Fair on Saturday, December 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will be held in two locations — the second floor of the historic brick Copper Rolling Mill (above Northern Spy) and on all three floors of the Yellow Barn.

Festivities will include a Gingerbread Construction Contest, which is free to enter and open to all ages. Just sign up by December 2 at tinyurl.com/PRHSGingerbread24. Everyone who attends the event will be able to vote for the winners in “Best Traditional Design” and “Best Creative Design.”

There will be lots to do for kids and families, including cookie decorating and creative activities with hats, ornaments, and artwork — all designed as takeaways from the event. In addition, Code Ninjas of Canton will be available to help participants tackle fun and engaging computing challenges, and Canton’s own Pat and Steve Cohen will be reprising their award-winning roles as Grandma Sugar and Papa Spice. They will be available for photo ops and sharing treats.

Over two dozen vendors will be on site selling food items, handmade crafts, art, jewelry, and more. Also, elements of the Copper exhibit will still be available for viewing on the first floor of the barn. For more information, go to paulreveremuseum.org/holidayfair2024.
