Brown, Carol A.

Carol A. Brown (Strumski), 79, of Medford, ME, formerly of Canton, died peacefully January 12, 2025.

Carol’s passion was her family, and the recent unexpected loss of her son was too much for her heart to bear. Carol was the devoted wife of the late David F. Brown Sr., loving mother to her son, David F. Brown Jr. (deceased) and his wife, Kathleen, of Medford, ME, Christine George and her husband, David, of Canton, Laurie Yarmaloff and her husband, Alan, of Stoughton, and Kathleen Artesani and her husband, Charles (CJ), of Norton.

She was a loving grandmother to Danny, Matt and Taylor, Jessica and Chris, Kristina, Lisa, Tommy and Maria, Ryan, Kylie, Charlie and Colin. Great-grandmother to Lucas and Camden. She was a beloved sister and sister-in-law with many nieces and nephews and friends who were like family.

A Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25, at 10 a.m. at St. Oscar Romero Church in Canton with burial immediately following at the Canton Corner Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest eternally with the love of her life.
