Canton Voter Guide is back for 2025
By Canton CitizenThe town of Canton will hold its municipal election on April 8, 2025. To help residents prepare, the Canton Voter Guide is back for the 2025 election season. The guide is available online at cantonmavoterguide.com.
Launched in 2024, the Canton Voter Guide serves as a comprehensive, non-partisan resource that allows residents to learn more about the candidates and the offices they are running for. The guide aims to provide clear, unbiased information to empower voters to make informed decisions in the upcoming election.
The goal of the Canton Voter Guide is to increase voter engagement and confidence by offering detailed information about local elections, candidate backgrounds, and office responsibilities. Designed to be user-friendly, the guide supports Canton residents in becoming informed voters and encourages greater participation in our town’s elections.
The Canton Voter Guide includes a list of Canton’s elected offices, a description of each office’s responsibilities, and essential election-related information such as voting locations and a link to check voter registration status. It also offers background on the candidates running for local office.
Additionally, the Canton Voter Guide team is excited to announce the second annual Candidate Forum, sponsored by the Canton Lions Club and held at the Canton Public Library. This year, two separate nights are set aside for residents to meet the candidates. The schedule is as follows:
* March 10 – Planning Board candidates at 6:30 p.m. and Select Board candidates at 7:30 p.m.
* March 11 – School Committee candidates at 7:45 p.m.
* March 13 – Library Trustees & Board of Health candidates at 6:30 p.m.
All forums will be recorded by Canton Community Television and broadcast at a later date.
Local elections are among the most impactful, directly affecting our daily lives. They determine the leaders who make critical decisions about schools, roads, public safety, and local businesses. We look forward to seeing increased voter engagement in this year’s election and encourage all Canton residents to participate.
