O’Connor, Paul J.
By Canton CitizenPaul J. O’Connor, 68, of Norwood, formerly of Whitman, passed away May 1 at New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton after a long illness.
Born and raised in Boston, he graduated from Cathedral High School and Bentley College. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and he worked as an accountant for James G. Grant Co. for many years.
Beloved father of Kenneth P. of Whitman, Lori E. O’Brien and her husband, Timothy, of Canton, and Tara C. O’Connor of Whitman. Grandfather of Logan and Nolan O’Brien. Brother of John O’Connor of Walpole, Patricia Flynn of Canton, and Maureen Bopp of Wilbraham.
A funeral service was held Monday, May 7, at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street. Interment VA National Cemetery in Bourne. Donations may be made in his memory to the Canton Veterans’ Service Department, 801 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021.
