Margaret E. Tracy, 90, a resident of Canton for over 58 years, died peacefully on Sunday, July 15, 2012.

Margaret was born in Cambridge and grew up in Newton/Auburndale and attended Newton schools. She later attended Boston University night school. Many years ago Margaret worked for Carter, Rice & Co. in Boston. She was vice president of the Provident Institute for Savings in Boston and later worked for Regan Communications in Boston before retiring in 1987.

Daughter of the late Thomas and Christine Tracy. Beloved aunt of Robert W. Tracy of Canton. Sister of the late Finlay Tracy, Thomas Tracy, and Jack Tracy. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 19, at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to the St. Labre Indian School, Ashland, MT 59004. Arrangements by the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street.
