Kelleher, Jacqueline M.
By Canton CitizenJacqueline M. Kelleher (Wood), 83, of Canton, passed away October 9 at Norwood Hospital.
Born and raised in Wilton, Maine, she attended Wilton schools where she played basketball. She has lived in Canton for the last 65 years and worked as an operator for New England Telephone for many years before retiring.
Beloved wife of the late James J. Mother of Gregory M. Kelleher and his wife, Gail Merchant, of ME. Grandmother of Alison Kelleher Mackey and Mark W. Kelleher, both of NH. Great-grandmother of Mackenzie Kelleher. Survived by her close friends Rita Fortes and Paul Pelland, both of Stoughton, and Alphia and Bruce Hutchinson of Canton.
A funeral service was held Friday morning, October 12, at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to the Richard Stein Animal Shelter, 150R Bolivar St., Canton, MA 02021.
