Frank M. Pearson, 90, of Canton, passed away October 17 at High Gate Manor in Dedham.

Born in Sweden, he was raised in Dedham and graduated from Dedham High School in 1941. He was an Army veteran of World War II and has lived in Canton since 1951. He worked for Westinghouse for many years as a welder and supervisor before retiring.

He was a member and past secretary of the Canton Town Club and member and past 10-year president of the Canton Senior Men’s Club. He loved old Western movies, politics, traveling, carpentry, and growing flowers in his greenhouse.

Beloved husband of the late Marguerite E. (Lynch). Father of John C. and David F., both of Canton. Brother of the late Eric Pearson and Bertha Wright. Grandfather of David Jr., Michael, and Amanda Pearson.

A funeral service was held Monday morning, October 22, at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, 2600 Network Blvd., Suite 300, Frisco, TX 75039.
