Halloween Around Town

Photos 1-2: Lainer Animal Hospital in Canton hosted its annual Costume Party for Pets on Sunday, October 28.
Photos 3-4: The Canton Girl Scouts hosted their annual Halloween party at St. John’s on Sunday, October 28. Activities included cookie decorating, tic-tac-toe, pumpkin bowling, ghost coloring, and make your own ghost lollipop. There was a DJ and lots of dancing, even a surprise visit by Captain Jack Sparrow.
Photos 5-6: The Hazel Boone Dance Studio, located on New Boston Drive in Canton, hosted two Halloween Parties on Saturday, October 27. The parties featured games, dance contests and costume contests.
Photo 7: Members of the Canton American Legion Community Band — appropriately dressed for the occasion — marched in the Recreation Department’s annual Halloween parade on Sunday, October 28. Two Canton High School students, Déja Jury on clarinet and Grace-Mary Burega on tenor saxophone, participated as part of the marching band.
