Doe, Dorothea M.

Dorothea M. Doe (Doolan), 94, of Canton, passed away January 1 at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton.

Born and raised in Boston, she attended Boston schools and was a devoted homemaker. She has lived in Canton since 1963 and was a member of the Canton Catholic Women’s Club, the Canton Garden Club, and was a volunteer at Norwood Hospital for many years.

Beloved wife of the late Robert H. Sr. Mother of Barbara Ferrazzani and her husband, Paul, of Norwood, Robert H. Jr. and his wife, Louise, of NC, Phyllis Gada and her husband, Edward, of CT, and Eleanor-Jean Doe Cohen of Carver. Sister-in-law of Lucy T. Doe of West Yarmouth and Helenmarie Doe Diamond of Norfolk. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 ½ great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass was held Monday morning, January 7, in St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made in her memory to the Hellenic Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 601 Sherman St., Canton, MA 02021. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
