Lyons, Barbara A.

Barbara A. Lyons (Rooney), 84, of Canton, formerly of Stoughton, passed away January 5 at the Champion Rehabilitation Center in Brockton.

Born and raised in Boston, she attended Boston schools. She worked for many years as a housekeeper at the Mass. Hospital School in Canton. Beloved wife of the late Thomas. Sister of the late Edward Rooney. Also survived by six nieces and one nephew.

A funeral mass was held Wednesday morning, January 9, in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
