Aquilino, Eleanor A.

Eleanor A. Aquilino (Rooney), 87, passed away February 11 at Norwood Hospital.

Born and raised in Cambridge, she graduated from St. John’s High in North Cambridge. She worked for Met Life in Cambridge for seven years as a clerk. She has lived in Canton since 1959 and previously lived in Newton.

Beloved wife of the late Daniel. Mother of James W. of Walpole, Michael J. of Brockton, Robert D. of CT, and Paul D. of Walpole. Sister of Marie R. DeLeo of Cambridge and the late Edward J. Rooney. Also survived by four grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday, February 14, at 10 a.m. in St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made in her memory to Our Neighbors in Need, c/o St. Gerard Majella Church, 1860 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
