Deadline for annual town election set for Wednesday, March 13
By Canton CitizenTown Clerk Tracy Kenney has announced that the last day to register to vote for the April 2 town election will be Wednesday, March 13.
The town clerk’s office will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on March 13. Registration forms may be requested by telephone at 781-821-5013. The clerk’s office will mail the form. Upon receipt the form must be completed and returned to the clerk’s office no later than 8 p.m. on March 13 or mailed with a postmark no later than March 13.
If you are registered to vote at your current address there is no need to re-register.
The polls will be open on election day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The polling locations for the April 2 election are as follows:
Precincts 1 and 6: Canton High School, 960 Washington St.
Precinct 2: Luce Elementary School, 45 Independence St.
Precinct 3: Blue Hill Regional School, 800 Randolph St.
Precincts 4 and 5: Kennedy Elementary School, 100 Dedham St.
