Callaghan, Margaret T.

Margaret T. Callaghan, 74, of Roslindale, passed away August 17 at home.

Born in Boston, she was raised in Roslindale and graduated from Roslindale High School. Margaret proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and was a life member of the Women’s Marine Corps Association. She worked for many years at Liberty Mutual as a secretary before retiring.

Daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Lee) Callaghan, formerly of Canton. Sister of the late Catherine F. Ross and Thomas “Buddy” Callaghan. Sister-in-law of Charles Ross of Roslindale. Also survived by her longtime friend and companion Martha “Pauline” Stewart of Abington and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton Thursday, August 22, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
