Theodore, Catherine C.

Catherine C. “Kitty” Theodore (Carteris), 82, of Canton, passed away February 26 at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton.

Born in Reading, PA, Kitty was raised in Lynn where she attended Lynn Classical High School. Kitty and her husband, “Teddy,” moved to Canton in 1957. After staying home to raise her two sons, Kitty went to work for Analog Devices in Westwood as a purchasing supervisor for many years before retiring in 1990.

Beloved wife of William “Teddy” Theodore. Loving mother of James and his wife, Mary, of Walpole, and Thomas and his wife, Barbara, of Canton. Devoted sister of Charles Carteris, Christopher Carteris of Lynn, Peter Carteris of FL, Lee Laganas of Swampscott, Audrey Talarico of NH and FL, Ann Carteris of Lynn, and the late Ernest Carteris. Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Kristen, Ali, Mimi and Will Theodore. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Monday, March 3, in St. Gregory’s Church in Mansfield. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery.
