Robinson, John B.
By Canton CitizenJohn B. Robinson of Walpole, formerly of Canton, passed away March 14 at South Shore Hospital.
Born and raised in Fall River, he graduated from Durfee High School and Bentley College with a degree in accounting. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and worked as an accountant for Nynex for over 35 years and retired in 1983. He was an active member of the United Church of Christ in Canton and was an avid golfer and bowler.
Beloved husband of the late Muriel E. (Hughes). Father of David J. and his wife, Marla, of Hanover and William G. and his wife, Ann, of Brockton. Grandfather of Andrew, Jillian and Brian Robinson, all of Hanover, and Mary and John Robinson of Brockton. Brother of the late Mildred Barlow and Marjorie, Frank and Kenneth Robinson.
A funeral service was held Wednesday morning, March 19, in the United Church of Christ in Canton. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
