McFadden, Geraldine F.
By Canton CitizenGeraldine F. McFadden (Tobin), 91, of Sharon, passed away unexpectedly April 14 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.
Born in Revere, she was raised in South Boston and attended Boston schools and Kelly Business School in Boston. She worked as an accountant for Hardware Mutual and Quincy Mutual for several years before retiring. She has lived in Sharon for the last 20 years and previously lived in Stoughton and Canton. She was a devoted and longtime parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. She was an avid sports fan who loved watching the Bruins and Red Sox and also loved reading the Wall Street Journal and talking politics.
Beloved wife of the late John M. Mother of John T. McFadden of Sharon. Sister of the late Evelyn Aubert and Eileen Jamison. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass was held Wednesday, April 16, in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
