D’Agostino, Bernardino
By Canton CitizenBernardino “Benny” D’Agostino, 86, of Windsor Locks, CT, the loving husband of 56 years to the late Leona “Lee” (Meyer) D’Agostino, entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, April 25, 2014, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Benny was born on August 17, 1927, the son of the late Nicholas and Mary D’Agostino. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during World War II and retired from Olivetti Underwood Typewriter after several years as a design engineer. Benny was an avid woodworker and built magnificent lighthouses.
Benny is survived by his two children, Robert D’Agostino, MD, and his wife, Pamela, of Canton, and Linda Hinckley and her husband, Paul, of East Hartford, CT, and seven grandchildren. Benny is also survived by two brothers, Nicholas D’Agostino and his wife, Wanda, of Las Vegas, and Steven D’Agostino of San Diego, and several nieces and nephews. Benny was predeceased by a brother, Louis D’Agostino.
