Donahue, Anne T.
By Canton CitizenAnne T. Donahue (McMahon), 87, of Canton, passed away after a long illness June 3 at the Monarch Homes in Weymouth.
Born in Braintree, she was raised in Dorchester and graduated from Jeremiah Burke High School. She was vice president of operations for Norfolk County Trust and Bay Bank before retiring in the early 1990s. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, reading, doing crossword puzzles, knitting, singing and cooking on the holidays. She has lived in Canton for the last 57 years.
Beloved wife of the late Eugene F., Sr. Mother of Linda M. Kelleher and her husband, David, of Plymouth, Dianne K. Oldach and her husband, Stephen, of Marlboro, Eugene F. Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of FL, John R. and his wife, Sharon, of FL, and James J. and his wife, Siobhan, of Canton. Sister of Helen K. Coughlin of Stoughton and the late Mary Craven and John McMahon. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Sunday, June 8, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton Monday at 10:30 a.m. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the St. John School Foundation, Box 604, Canton, MA 02021, or to Hope Hospice, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
