Bassett, Stephanie E.

Stephanie E. Bassett, 95, of Dighton, formerly of Canton, Weymouth, and Dorchester, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, in the comfort of her home.

Stephanie was a retired court stenographer. She had also worked at Filenes in Downtown Crossing, as a waitress for the Amber Lantern Inn in Onset, and as a welder in the naval shipyard. She enjoyed dogs, animals, her family and friends, and also enjoyed traveling to the casinos in Connecticut …
