Mass Energy Consumers Alliance a great local resource

I have been burning biofuel for several years now. It burns cleaner, which helps the environment. A heat manager attached to the control box to the furnace/boiler also helps in how much oil one burns per season. I attended the annual meeting of the Mass Energy Consumers Alliance on Wednesday night and learned a lot. For regular heating oil, they have over 80,000 members in Massachusetts. If you are interested in learning more about discounted heating oil, check out www.massenergy.org/node/1. It may be worth your while. They are looking for biofuel suppliers to work with them and are starting to work with a supplier out of Rhode Island. There is next to none in Massachusetts that work with the alliance, so for me, being a member in the alliance wouldn’t work — not right now anyway. I hope this info helps at least one person burning oil. Please pass it along to your oil-burning friends and family.
