Betsy’s Barbershop to host annual Buzz-Off fundraiser
By Canton CitizenOn Sunday, May 21, Betsy’s Barbershop in Canton will host its second annual Buzz-Off to help raise money for cancer research and support the Joe Andruzzi Foundation.
People are being asked to donate $20 or more to receive a buzz-cut and free t-shirt. The Main Course will be grilling up burgers and dogs, and DJ Gary Titus will be there with entertainment and music. There will also be face painting, touch-a-truck, prize giveaways, and more. The event is open to the community and fun for all ages, so bring the family and enjoy entertainment while supporting a great cause.
With help from the Canton community, Betsy’s raised over $8,000 last year and had close to 200 people in attendance. New England Patriots tackle Nate Solder and former Patriots offensive guard Joe Andruzzi showed their support by signing autographs and taking pictures with their Super Bowl rings.
The Buzz-Off will take place from 12-4 p.m. at Betsy’s Barbershop, located at 789 Washington Street. For more information about the event, visit www.facebook.com/events/1377694172276140.
The Canton Ice House is proud to sponsor this year’s event. The Ice House is a locally owned business providing rink time for the community and helps support the drive to end cancer.
