Retiring crossing guard grateful for the friendships

Dear Editor:

Many thanks to the parents and children at the Luce Circle crossing. You treated me as a friend from day one. Hard to believe it was seven years of your kindness. Due to health issues I am retiring. It was a joy crossing your children safely to school. Enjoy the summer and stay safe.
