Foley, Rita A.

Rita Anne (Doyle) Foley, 83, of Canton, died peacefully the morning of September 5 after a brief illness.

Rita was born and raised in Dorchester, attending St. Peter’s parochial school and Jeremiah Burke High before relocating with her family and graduating from Stoughton High School as a member of the Class of 1951. She lived most of her life in Stoughton before moving to Lamplighter Village in Canton upon her retirement. Rita was a proud member of the Amvets Post 1977 Ladies Auxiliary for many years …
