Marie was born in Dorchester and attended St. Gregory’s grammar and high school. She was a devoted parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton and was a member of the Canton Catholic Women’s Club and the Canton Garden Club.
Beloved wife of the late Philip P. Pacella. Loving mother of Dianne S. Pacella and her husband, Robert Forbes, of Ipswich and Donna M. MacDonald and her husband, Joseph, of Wareham. Proud grandmother of Andrea Benson- Yang of Stratham, NH, Leanne Oden of Wareham, and Gabriel Pacella-Hazelton of Ipswich. Proud great-grandmother of Matthew and Elizabeth Yang of NH and Colby Oden of Wareham.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, November 24, in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Interment New Calvary Cemetery, Boston. Donations may be made in Marie’s memory to the Arc of South Norfolk, 789 Clapboardtree St., Westwood, MA 02090.
