By Canton CitizenLoretta Rita (Ivanoski) Grigalunas, 67, of Stoughton, passed away surrounded by family and friends on October 10, 2018, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was the loving daughter of the late John and Loretta Ivanoski. Beloved wife of Michael Grigalunas. Devoted, loving mother of Suzanne, Michelle, and Michael. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Laurel, Myles, Keegan, and Mia. Dear sister of Carol Doherty, Paul Ivanoski, Joanne Shea, Marie McInerney, and Susan Sullivan. Along with the late John, Edward, Leonard and William Ivanoski, Irene White, Jean Morris, her nephew John Morris, and great-niece Melissa Harrison. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Born in Boston in 1951, Loretta attended schools in Easton, South Boston, and was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1969. She worked as an administrative assistant in the Public Facility Department for the city of Boston, as well as an employee for the Registry Division of Births, Deaths, and Marriages in Boston, and later as a crossing guard for the town of Stoughton. In her spare time Loretta had a passion for drawing and painting.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
