By Canton CitizenMichael J. Trunfio, 58, of Canton, passed away at home December 23 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Everett, he was raised in Canton and graduated from Canton High School. He worked for many years in the construction industry and enjoyed spending time at the VFW in Stoughton and volunteering at the American Legion in Canton and the Canton Food Pantry.
Devoted father of Kelly White. Beloved son of the late Edward E. and Catherine J. “Kay” Trunfio. Brother of Edward E. Trunfio and his wife, Kathy, of Stoughton and John P. Trunfio and his wife, Terri, of Brockton. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral mass in St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Steward Hospice, 30 Perwal St., Westwood, MA 02090. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
