Canton-based distributor celebrates 100 years

Canton-based BSC Industries, Inc. is celebrating 100 years of success and leadership in industrial distribution this year. Since its humble beginning in 1919 as the Bearings Specialty Company, selling surplus bearings in Boston, the company has focused on being a value-added distributor of high-quality products from top manufacturers.

Now owned by brothers Jim and Peter Fitzpatrick, BSC Industries attributes its success and growth over the years to the ongoing quest for innovation and quality. “We are committed to providing our customers with solutions that positively impact their bottom line, therefore we need to be on the cutting edge,” said Jim Fitzpatrick, company president. “Our strategic relationships with leading manufacturers, as well as our numerous knowledgeable and dedicated associates help us to better provide those solutions.”
