Banis, Peter L.

Peter L. Banis, 63, of Canton, passed away March 31 at home.

Born in Bridgeport, CT, he was raised in Trumbull, CT, and graduated from Trumbull High School, the University of Connecticut, New England School of Law, and received his master’s in taxation from Boston University.

Peter was a member of the Mass. Bar Association and was a tax attorney in Boston for many years. He has lived in Canton for 20 years and was an avid boater and tuna fisherman.

Beloved father of Kathryn S. Banis of Jamaica Plain, Molly C. Banis and her husband, Mark Bilancieri, of Millis, Sarah C. Banis of Jamaica Plain, and Peter C. Banis of FL.
